This could cause a user to do all kinds of troubleshooting that isn't required. Say I enter "thisnameistoodarnlongtobeasharename" and click "Create share". The dialogue will allow me to click "Create share" with that name in place. Upon re-opening, the dialogue now says "Share name is too long" at the bottom, and the text box is shaded yellow. The length/validity of the share name should be checked upon the click of the "Create share" button, and an error message be thrown up (in the form of a dialogue box, or at least a red-X-type of icon and bold text *next to the text field*) if the name is not valid. The dialogue should not allow a user to "Create share" with a name that is too long. Thanks!
