Public bug reported: Cannot send a file from Empathy 3.4.2.3 running on Ubuntu 12.04 to another user running Ubuntu 10.04 and Empathy.
Can receive though the other way around! I open 'Contact>Send File' and then a window pops up so I can select a file to send. I select a file and hit the Send button. Nothing ever happens after that. No error, no request to recieve on the intended recipient's machine. I started Empathy via command line and still no errors/feedback. ** Affects: empathy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1077117 Title: Cannot send a file from Empathy to Empathy Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Cannot send a file from Empathy 3.4.2.3 running on Ubuntu 12.04 to another user running Ubuntu 10.04 and Empathy.
