Title:
  kubuntu/firefox should per default open mailto: with kmail

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  it's a wish, not a bug, I would say.

  is it possible to make a KDE-integration package for firefox like
  there is for Gnome; let's name it "firefox-kde-support".

  I know there has to be much more in it but a good start would be the
  file

  "/usr/share/firefox/defaults/pref/kde-integration.js" or similar which
contains just one line:
  pref("network.protocol-handler.app.mailto", "kmailservice");

  I don't know how this is done in Gnome, but I think it's done a
  similar way.

  Christian
