Public bug reported: Ubuntu 12.04 with Ati Mobility Radeon 5400 using the standard fglrx driver (updates don't install properly). Each time I try to enter sleep mode and wake, all I get is a black screen with no underlying functionality (I tested loading a terminal with key shortcuts and entering commanding a shutdown.
