Title: Pidgin task bar icon keeps flashing in xfce Status in “pidgin” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “xfce4-panel” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The pidgin task bar icon is constantly flashing when its window is not active. I don't see any reason it should require attention. I have not seen this behavior in gnome fallback or Unity (there it is integrated in the messages indicator).
