Title:
Icons on desktop inconsistent.
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When the icons on the desktop are placed automatically, or is selected to
'Organize Desktop by Name', the icons are arranged in an acceptable order,
seperated fairly as shown here -http://oi45.tinypic.com/244we46.jpg.
But when the user manually arranges the icons, the slots (Can I call them
that?) are included in places so that the text can overlap or the icon layout
is inconsistent (http://oi46.tinypic.com/15xpklh.jpg). This looks ugly unless
you right-click and 'Organize Desktop by Name'.
It would be better and more astetically pleasing if the icons were
organized properly in consistent spaces.
