I have exactly the same problem with exactly the same HW (Macbook 2,1). It happened with 12.04 and it's happening now with 12.10. This messages go haywire after trying to hibernate the system, which is always unsuccessful.
So far I didn't experience any problems other than some occasional instability and the fact that hibernation is not possible. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1020393 Title: [i945gm] GPU lockup EIR: 0x00000010 PGTBL_ER: 0x00000102 Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: both ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10 lock up, lose mouse and need restarts , sometimes 2 or 3 restarts in a row to get it to function right ! ubuntu alwawys worked from6 to 11.10 . please fix this buggy software and make it a upgrade instead of a downgrade ProblemType: Crash DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.19.0-1ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-2.2-generic 3.5.0-rc4 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-2-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.2.5-0ubuntu1 Architecture: i386 Chipset: i945gm Date: Sun Jul 1 01:45:32 2012 DistroCodename: quantal DistroVariant: ubuntu DuplicateSignature: [i945gm] GPU lockup EIR: 0x00000010 PGTBL_ER: 0x00000102 Ubuntu 12.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/share/apport/apport-gpu-error-intel.py GpuHangFrequency: Several times a day InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release i386 (20110427.1) InterpreterPath: /usr/bin/python3.2mu MachineType: Apple Inc.
