This workaround is also working:

CCSM > General Options > Key bindings > maximize_window_key > Reset settings to
the default value
(was: <Alt>F10; became: <Control><Primary><Super>Down)

Now I can maximize/unmaximize window with Ctrl+Super+Up/Down (did not
work for maximizing after upgrade).

This also solved an issue described in #994944 (Alt+F10 showed twice in
shortcuts but did not work for maximizing).

Title:
Alt+F10 does not maximize a window

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Alt+F10 does not maximize a window. It opens application menu,
  instead.

  Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open an unmaximized window (for example, Ctrl+Alt+T to open new
  terminal window).

  2. Press Alt+F10.

Result: Application menu is opened (the same way as it is opened when
one presses F10). Window remains unmaximized.

Expected result: Window is maximized, application menu does not
  appear.
