firefox does not start in Ubuntu 12.04, suddenly

When running on the terminal indicates message:

/usr/bin/which: 1: /usr/bin/which: �Ci: not found
/usr/bin/which: 2: /usr/bin/which: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

I reinstalled with "sudo apt-get remove --purge firefox" and "sudo apt-
get --f install firefox", but without solution
