System fails to boot after activating nvidia driver
Status in “nvidia-graphics-drivers” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Currently running with nouveau driver.
After activating nvidia-current driver trough additional drivers I did
a reboot. The system then fails to load the graphical driver, and
freezes completly. I'm not able to get into a shell or anything. The
system powers down when pressing power button.
To fix this, I booted in failsafe mode and removed the nvidia-current
driver via root console.
