I'm going to close this out as Ubuntu doesn't categorize the games like this
anymore. If you need the categories in the .desktop files changed, please open
an upstream bug with the specific categories you expect:

Title:
Games menu is categorized illogically
Status in “gnome-games” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Since Karmic, the games menu has contained an extra Logic category,
which I assume is to avoid having an enormous list of things by
splitting it between logic games and everything else. However, the
current categorization is inappropriate. One error is that Chess,
which is _THE_ logic game, is not in there, instead dumped in the
"everything else" category. Iagno is also as much a logic game as
Four-in-a-row.
This renders the Logic subcategory useless and illogical. If it's
possible to move these around at will, I think a puzzles category
would be more appropriate.
