Title:
Printer prints garbage with hpijs but not but not Foomatic/hpijs

Status in “hplip” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I have a networked Hardy server sharing a HP Photosmart 8450. The
various network printers I have use IPP to send to the HP.

On my Intrepid box the driver used is: HP Photosmart 8400 Foomatic/hpijs
The Jaunty machines (fully updated) want to use: HP Photosmart 8400 Series
hpijs, hpijs 3.9.

Printing through the Intrepid box yields expected results. Printing
through the Jaunty machine ends up with large black and messy area
where the printing was supposed to be done.
