Title:
Rubberband on desktop is theme color instead of background average

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
The rubber band on the desktop is based on the color of the theme
instead of the average color of the desktop background like all of the
Unity dash, Notify OSD and others. This means that many times the
selection can be invisible or just doesn't look right on the desktop.
