Title: "alt+dot" is not working for bash's insert-last-argument Status in “xterm” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Bash has this insert-last-argument, assigned to alt+dot. With xterm alt+dot will instead product symbol ® (as a workaround:) ESC+dot works as insert-last-argument. Other terminals (roxterm,mrxvt,gnome-terminal,konsole) and virtual terminals (tty) work as expected (so I think it is not about keyboard layout or window manager).
