Hello. I just registered to say i have the same problem, but im using opensuse. For the moment i had to deinstall gtk transmission and install transmission-qt, that solved the problem for the moment, if it helps to some one. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to transmission in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1010128 Title: Transmission preferences won't let me select a "automatically add torrents from" location, "save location" or a "keep torrents in:" location. Status in “transmission” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: At some point, I don't know when, I was downloading some torrents and transmission decided to start saving all my torrent files inside of a another downloading file "Venture Bros, the-season 0", a folder I deleted a while ago, instead of the default "downloads" folder. I have long since deleted that file and it won't let me change it back. I tried deleting the file over and over again, but everytime transission just recreates the damn file and won't let me select anything else. I want to change it back to its default settings but it won't. Am I doing something wrong?
