Hi, This is happening but not at every login: I'm not yet able to trigger the problem consistently, but last time it happened I restarted lightdm to make unity work again and when I logged in the shortcuts were gone. This is happening at least twice a week since I upgraded from Precise to Quantal, and I can confirm the same problem happens in another different machine, also recently upgraded to Quantal. I have defined a shortcut to open xterm (another than the Open Terminal one), and it persists, but all the others I customized, such as moving between workspaces or toggle maximization state are gone.
Please, let me know if I can provide any other information. Cheers, ** Tags added: quantal running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-session in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/955955 Title: Keyboard shortcuts get reset at every login Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I have two sets of keyboard shortcuts that I change from the defaults: - ALT-T to open a terminal - ALT-<N> to switch to workspace <N> In unity 3d, when I logout and then login again, they no longer work. I go to the keyboard shortcut preferences, and they are still there. To get them to work again, I have to: - disable the shortcut with the backspace key - set it again to my desired value Then it works as long as I don't logout again.
