Thanks for the report, and sorry for the long delay in responding.
I'm told that the wallpaper package description explained, at the time,
that it was just a test application for the payment service and that any
payment would be treated as a donation. When the test period finished,
the test application was removed from the USC catalog altogether, which
is why it doesn't show up now.
I have tested in 11.10 beta 1 that purchased items do show up in the
"Previous Purchases" screen, even when they aren't yet installable on
the current Ubuntu version.

Title:
Wallpaper purchased in Maverick beta in not showing up in "Previous
Purchases" list
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
I'm trying to get hold of another copy of the wallpaper that I
purchased when the payment system was being evaluated in the Maverick
beta, but when I log in to the software store and check my previous
purchases, the list is empty.
