Title:
Visual glitch in lobby view on startup
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Software Center version 5.3.11, the Quantal Quetzal
There is an ugly layout glitch in the lobby view every time Ubuntu
Software Center is started when recommendations are enabled. After the
recommendations panel loads, the upper panel is not laid out correctly
and the recommendations panel header items initally overlap the What's
New panel above. In addition, the Categories panel to the left is not
resized correctly. These visual issues are corrected as soon as the
mouse is passed over the categories area at the left of the view.
Note that I could not create a screenshot because the act of creating
it corrects the bad layout.
