With gdm 3.5.90 in fallback mode (this is the 3.0 look, not the fancy GNOME
Shell style), after login gdm-simple-greeter does not get terminated properly.
This leaves the login screen active and interfering with the top panel
from gnome-shell classic. Making the classic mode practically useless
you terminal gdm-simple-greeter
