After switching desktops I am unable to enter data from keyboard

Bug description:
I am using few desktops with Unity/3D in setup:
1. terminal + gvim(s)
2. firefox + chromium
3. thunderbird
And many times when I switch application (Start+[1-9] keys) I am
landing in application but also I am not able to type anything in
window. Have to switch to other window/desktop and back to get it
working.
This affects only keyboard input - window is active, I can use mouse to
interact with it but not keyboard.
