Title: Disk Utility and Nautilus are not able to Start LVM Volume Group or Volumes Status in “gnome-disk-utility” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I have an encrypted ubuntu installation made with the Alternate CD using the presets for Encrypted LVM. In Oneiric Beta, I still can't mount a VG and see the disks within using palimpsest or nautilus. cryptsetup is installed. Disk utility gives the error: Error starting Volume Group An error occurred : The operation failed Details > Error starting job: Failed to execute child process "vgchange". No such file or directory.
