Title:
  Can't update anything (Ubuntu 11.10)

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Everytime i try to update I get this:

  Get:1 Changelog for aptdaemon-data
(http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool
  /main/a/aptdaemon/aptdaemon_0.43+bzr697-0ubuntu1.2/changelog) [36.6 kB]
  aptdaemon (0.43+bzr697-0ubuntu1.2) oneiric-security; urgency=low

    * SECURITY UPDATE: unauthenticated package installation (LP: #959131)
      - debian/patches/04_CVE-2012-0944.patch: properly handle
        unauthenticated packages in aptdaemon/worker.py.
      - CVE-2012-0944
    * This package does _not_ contain the changes from 0.43+bzr697-0ubuntu1.1
      in oneiric-proposed.

    * New upstream release from the Stable Channel (LP: #968901)
This release fixes the following security issues:
      - [109574] Medium CVE-2011-3058: Bad interaction possibly leading to XSS
in

To fix My problem, I tried These Command, without any luck:

  sudo apt-get -f upgrade --fix-missing
  sudo apt-get -y upgrade
  sudo dpkg --configure -a
  sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
  sudo apt-get -f install

AS far as I undestood, APT is seeing a duplicate some where, I'm
thinking "0ubuntu" . Now my biggest problem is the "Ubuntu software
center" will freeze on "APPLYING CHANGES", Even when I reboot my
system. The Only temporarily fix I found is to go to "Software
sources" click on " Authentication" tab then hit "Restore to Default"
finally reboot. But as soon as a new "Update" show up, the whole
  problem comes back. Thank you.
