Title:
Unity Panel and Launcher disappear when "Snap windows back to Original
size" option from grid plugin is unchecked

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
For reproducing this bug in a system that starts without problems with
unity and compiz, you have to do the next actions:

1.- After starting, open CCSM and select to set up grid plugin.
2.- Yet in grid plugin screen, you have to uncheck the "Snap windows back to
Original size" option.

Then the Unity crash and unity panel and Launcher dissapears. After,
if you restart your system the same happen, that is, there are more
  no unity panel neither Launcher.

I think, this bug is related with another one I upload a month ago,
which is Bug #880128. The same problem happens nowadays. If you push
Ctr-Alt-KP9 to adjust a windows to the top right corner and after you
change to another viewport using "expo plugin" then the windows
previously adjusted is showed in the 'new' viewport. In fact, the
window is showed there but it is not there, since you canot access to
it. The same happens with Ctr-Alt-KP7, Ctr-Alt-KP1 and Ctr-Alt-KP3.
The problem doesn't happen with Ctr-Alt-KP6 and Ctr-Alt-KP4
