  Battery icon is always showing, and the "external batteries" function
  not working

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I have a desktop PC, not a Laptop, and on the indicators there is a battery 
icon, ALWAYS active.
  And I read that the indicator will show the external devices power charge, 
but I have connected my mouse, my Android phone, etc.. and I don't see this 
devices on the indicator.
