Unity dash launcher very slow when running system monitor in
background
Status in “gnome-system-monitor” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
when running gnome system monitor, click on the dash and move mouse over
icons. icons light up very slowly and respond slowly when clicked.
when running several programs ( excluding system monitor ) dash works fine
and responds very quickly,
open system monitor dash slows down and responds poorly.
