  Power Statistics window freezes on succeeding access

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  On a laptop/notebook/netbook, clicking on [BATTERY (X:XX left)] the
  1st time will pull up [POWER STATISTICS] window normally. After
  closing the window and attempting to pull it up again, the window
  freezes and no information is shown (only a grey box window).
  Restarting/logging out your computer will reset situation, seems OK on
  1st attempt but will freeze again on succeeding attempts
