Same problem here. I open the document and the font is ugly. Installing msttcorefonts didn't solve the issue. Seen like it using a ugly non- smooth font as a replacement for a missing one. Open the doc who generated the PDF show a beautiful smooth font, só it seen evince is using a bad font or has a renderization issue.
