Title:
NM does not auto-connect to Wi-Fi networks marked "Connect
Automatically"
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
NetworkManager in Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 does not auto-connect to Wireless
Networks marked "Connect Automatically". Although it worked without
problems on the same setup and hardware under Ubuntu 9.10, after
upgrading to 10.04 this problem came up. In order to connect, I have
to right click network-manager applet, and select Enable Wireless. If
then enabled, it connects to the network. But it has to be done
manually every time the computer starts.
