Log in and connect to a wireless network 2. Select system -> log out -> switch user. BUG: The network is disconnected. You can confirm this by logging in as root in a virtual console. 3. Log in as another user 4. Log out 5. Resume the session of the first user. SERIOUS BUG: Even though you connect/disconnect/reconnect to the wifi connection, internet access doesn't work. Logging out and in doesn't help either. A reboot is necessary to regain network connectivity. --- Architecture: amd64 CRDA: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 IfupdownConfig: auto lo iface lo inet loopback InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release Candidate amd64 (20100928) IpRoute: 192.168.0.0/24 dev eth1 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.0.101 metric 2 169.254.0.0/16 dev eth1 scope link metric 1000 default via 192.168.0.1 dev eth1 proto static Keyfiles: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory NonfreeKernelModules: wl Package: network-manager 0.8.1+git.20100810t184654.ab580f4-0ubuntu2 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_GB.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.33-generic 2.6.35.4 RfKill: 0: dell-wifi: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no Tags: maverick Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic x86_64 UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin nopasswdlogin plugdev sambashare To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/664680/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
