*I had updated to 11.10 and did not like the floating icons in an way
and I think I added fallback first and did not like that look So I
added the mate to the computer as a different way to delete / remove the
floating Icons . .I do not know who thought of the floating icons but I
would kick their . . To the other side of. .
*

*Any way I just copied all the files I wanted to save, Wiped th drive
and put 10.10 back on the computer and now am upgraded to 11.04 . . Need
a different way to keep Gnome as the desktop and be able to get to the
Menu "System"
Linux Mint does not do it either have to wander around and look for
programs . . 11.04 allows for Gnome desktop . . I got Al's computer( 80
year old man who did not like the ICONS either ) up to 12.04 and almost
looking like Gnome but it took a while and I mumbled a few words
*

*The Icons take more clicks to get to a program then the menu on Gnome
does !
As the only way to get to a program you want is click on the desktop
icon open the window go to the bottom click on the what ever it is Icon
and click on the files Icon to get to the menu you want . And then to
the program your looking for . . That is 4 clicks and a waste of my time
. . The gnome desktop I click on the applications spot run the cursor
down to what area I want click and down to item and click that is 3
CLICKS much faster !
