Matthias, sorr. I am assuming that the attached file is Abschlussarbeit.pdf. I have downloaded it and I have done the steps which you have written up in comment #19. For me the image always appears, under Precise (12.04) with all updates (cups-filters 1.0.18, cups 1.5.3, ghostscript 9.05, evince 3.4.0, poppler 0.18.4, cairo 1.10.2). I tried on both PostScript and non-PostScript printers.
So, once, can you check whether your system is up to date and second, can you create the file Ausgabe.pdf as described in comment #19 and attach it, so that I can compare it with Ausgabe.pdf as my evince generates it and try to print.
