Title:
dock icons reset to defaults after hibernate failure

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Sometimes after my computer fails to resume from hibernate, my dock is
reset to the default set of apps (nautilus, firefox, some Libre Office
apps, etc.) instead of whatever apps I like to keep in my dock (eg,
Chromium, Eclipse, Terminal, ...). The failure to resume from
hibernate seems to be due to the poorly supported ATi graphics card,
but regardless my customized dock icons shouldn't get clobbered by the
defaults on failed resume from hibernate.

This bug is not 100% reproducible, but it has happened to me a number
of times, so I'm sure I could get the bug to show itself again if any
devs can think of any additional data I might gather and post to help
  out.
