Thanks, Micah Gersten, for providing that information. My CompactHeader extensions got upgraded automatically yesterday or today. It's working fine now. I removed the Blinking Alert extension because this version of thunderbird provides a good alert feature. I still miss having the clickable arrows at the top of the folder list. It made it so easy to switch folder view between all and unread.
