karaluh, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Maverick reached EOL on April 2012. Please see this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases
We were wondering if this is still an issue in a supported release? If so, can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command in a supported release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p libreoffice 704789 Thanks! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/704789 Title: Calc makes cells protected when it shouldn't Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Binary package hint: openoffice.org To reproduce: 1. unprotect a cell 2. protect the spreadsheet 3. paste any rich text - from web page for example - into the unprotected cell 4. try to delete the pasted text expected results - the text is deleted. actual results - text isn't deleted, cell becomes protected ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: openoffice.org-calc 1:3.2.1-7ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-25.43-generic 2.6.35.10 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-25-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Jan 18 16:02:24 2011 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=pl_PL:pl:en_GB:en PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=pl_PL.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: openoffice.org To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/704789/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
