So, is this technically a Gnome issue and not an Ubuntu issue? I'd really like to see this fixed as I use multiple profiles to get work done quickly. Having to edit one profile over and over to change DNS servers or IPs or whatever is a huge pain the butt. Suddenly it's like I'm stuck working in Windows, where actual ease of use doesn't matter only looking pretty.

Now, while I can create those profiles, I no longer can select anything but the first one. I would have made you some pretty screen shots to show the difference, but neither ubuntu 10.10 nor 11.04 allow the prtscrn button to work when the network modal selector is selected from the menu bar.
