Title: software-center crashed with AttributeError in convert_desktop_file_to_installed_location(): 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'replace' Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Since I'm in emergency recovery mode for a partition table problem, my only available access platform is my Live Natty CD. I had downloaded gptfdisk _0.7.2-1_i386.deb to /home/ubuntu and opening this brought me to the software center to try to install gptfdisk. My Natty Live platform is as it comes on the CD.
