Title: Archive Manager refuses to open zip-type archives Status in “file-roller” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Today I downloaded a modification for a popular game, Minecraft, which was packaged in a .zip file. I had the Minecraft.jar file open in a separate window, and when I tried to open the zip file, it refused to open. A work around I found was to rename the file to filename.jar, which opened with no hassle from Archive manager.
