Public bug reported:

Description: Ubuntu 26.04 LTS
Release: 26.04

Snap applications are not displaying in Show Apps as of this morning.

- snapd-desktop-integration service crashes twice on boot before stabilizing
("Failed to do gtk init"). GNOME Shell builds app-picker-layout during crash
window
- XDG_DATA_DIRS correctly includes /var/lib/snapd/desktop
- Snap .desktop files exist and are valid
- Apps are findable via application_state (usage history) but not added to grid

Steps to reproduce:

- Fresh install of Ubuntu 26.04
- Open the app grid (Show Apps button)
