Thanks. Next please try disabling the built-in extensions and retest. We
can only disable them, not uninstall, because they are required system
packages.

The reason I still suspect extensions is because they all get
deactivated on screen lock and reactivated on unlock. If an extension is
buggy then it may only break gnome-shell when unlocking the screen.
