It looks to me like this may have been a temporary issue in resolute as different GNOME components (gnome-shell, gnome-session, gdm3) were updated.
When I tried to restart from the command line, I was informed there was a gnome-session inhibitor and I was told I could run this command to ignore the inhibitor. sudo systemctl reboot -i Someone should check if this issue affects people upgrading to resolute. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2145774 Title: Power off / restart options are sometimes missing in GNOME quick settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2145774/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
