i'm on ubuntu 25.10 and GIMP 3.0.4-6.1
when i try opening a PNG image, i get this message:
```Plug-in crashed: "file-png"

to save your images and restart GIMP to be on the safe side.```
i also attached the crash log as a file as it was too long to paste
here.
