Just logging in to confirm this. Using an up to date Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS with the standard GNOME desktop, Firefox 141.0-2, and nautilus 1:42.6-0ubuntu2, I tried to upload an image to Google Image Search, but the file picker dialog didn't show up. I then tried to open Files, which didn't show up, either, and ran nautilus on the command line, which, after a while, threw the message:
(org.gnome.Nautilus:27122): GVFS-WARNING **: 16:46:22.219: The peer-to- peer connection failed: Timeout was reached. Falling back to the session bus. Your application is probably missing --filesystem=xdg-run/gvfsd privileges. Several minutes of waiting didn't help. I have Keybase set to start up automatically, and after issuing the command pkill keybase Firefox's file picker dialog and the Nautilus window suddenly appeared. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1951075 Title: Nautilus doesn't load and gives GVFS-WARNING To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1951075/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
