Why was this "won't fix" again? Because it was fixed in a later version
of Ubuntu, so the LTS doesn't get fixed?

I can confirm basically everything here - a fresh (virtualbox) Ubuntu
24.04 install let's me successfully navigate and update my online files,
trying to add to my main host allows me to access the "shareds" but when
I click on the "root" directory it fails with the attached popup. It
usually causes Nautilus to crash after that. The host install is
completely `dist-upgrade`d.

KDE has no (easy) integration until 25.04 either, so this is quite
annoying!
