I cannot reproduce, but this might be fixed by 
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/merge_requests/1548
If so, this fix is included in 46.4 which is currently in testing for 24.04: 
bug 2108849

If you're able to reproduce the issue, please try installing nautilus 46.4 from 
-proposed:
* https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed
* $ apt install -t noble-proposed nautilus
and report back whether the bug is fixed there
