Public bug reported:

has been trying to get xrdp to work but cannot. not sure if it is the
sole reason why xrdp is not working

setup:
VM with SPICE/QXL, Ubuntu Budgie 24.04.2 LTS fresh install; tried Ubuntu Kylin
as well, same problem, so likely it could affect other desktop flavors

steps:
install Ubuntu interactively
reboot
login to console, sudo apt-get install xrdp xorgxrdp
reboot
try to login from Windows 11 RDC
