Public bug reported:
On my laptop that I keep running but suspend/resume multiple times per
day, the gnome-shell process which GDM keeps running in the background
has some type of memory leak. It is currently up to 2 GiB after an
"uptime" of 28 days. No issues with the actual gnome-shell process I
use at 382M, though it appears to have crashed/restarted more recently.
