Closing the laptop lid blacks out the screen completely, and freezes the
system.
The freeze is instantaneous once lid is closed. This fault is observed
consistently at each attempt.
Opening the laptop (lid) reveals a black screen.
All keyboard entries / mouse movements are ineffectual, including CTRL-
ALT-DEL.
This is fault is different to #549983 and #390816 in that there is
nothing at all showing on the screen once the lid is opened, and no
docking station is in use.
