You have been subscribed to a public bug:
My Cowon D2 portable media player when connected via USB in MTP mode to
my computer, Gnome pops up a dialog box saying "you have just inserted a
Picture CD. Choose what application to launch"
In the included screenshot it says Rhythmbox, however it originally said
Brasero. The player is not an Picture CD device. It is designed
primarily as a music playback machine. It can handle video and
pictures, however these are secondary minor roles that take a back seat
to music playback. Please fix the detection so that the proper software
will pop up on notice in the dialog box. The proper software of course
meaning some kind of music program.
Ubuntu 9.10 with all updates applied.
