Confirmed on current Jaunty + Compiz running QEMU. In the QEMU case, after escaping the screensaver (which is "Blank screen"), all keyboard input and mouse clicks go into limbo, the mouse pointer moves very slowly, and I cannot un-grab it. I can only get the Gnome desktop back by moving to a VT and killing QEMU cold. This is definitely not good for the guest.
Also confirmed on Jaunty Netbook Remix running Hedgewars. This only dims the screen, and never suspends. Netbook Remix does its own compositing, but does not run Compiz.
