Thanks for your report. Unfortunately we need more input to proceed with
it.
You have reported it against ``gnuchess'' package but ``gnuchess'' is
only an engine which is text-based. The game which is started by using
Applications->Games->Chess is called ``glchess'' and is a part of
``gnome-games''. Or maybe you meant ``xboard'' which is graphical
interface for ``gnuchess''?
Also I couldn't reproduce this bug with either one so more data is
needed - the best way would be to restart apport in report mode by doing
``sudo force_start=1 /etc/init.d/apport restart'' and then run a game.
If it crashes apport should generate a report you can attach to this
bug. If not then by running a game from terminal may produce some debug
informations.
Until this data is attached I mark this bug as an Incomplete.
